the Ethical Rebel Magazine Student Take Over

Nearly 50 young people at Cornwall College took part in the Student Take Over for the Issue 02 series of Ethical Rebel.

A team of students was allocated to each of our 3 topics: pollution, especially plastics; textile waste and the role of vintage, charity shop and secondhand clothing; and modern day slavery in the fashion industry.

Each magazine features ethical fashion brands tackling the issues covered, with amazing images taken by the students during their photoshoot.

With guidance from award winning photographer Sarah Brittain-Edwards, art and photography students styled and referenced the issues in their images. Performing Arts (Dance and Drama) students delivered a fantastic street vibe as our models. The Hair and Beauty Department kept hair and make-up bold and moody for our street theme.
